On our fourth day, we checked out from our hotel in Madikeri and traveled to the tranquil town of Somwarpet. En route, we couldn’t resist stopping at various scenic viewpoints to capture the mesmerizing landscapes. Our guesthouse in Somwarpet was cozy, with stunning views and warm hospitality from the owners. We quickly freshened up and set out to explore the town’s natural wonders.
We visited the picturesque Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoyed a scenic drive through its lush landscapes. The views were mesmerizing, and the peaceful environment was a welcome respite. That evening, we treated ourselves to some local Coorgi delicacies at a quaint eatery.
On our fifth day, we made our way back to Madikeri to maximize our last day. We explored the remaining attractions like the Madikeri Fort and the vibrant local markets. To end our trip on a high note, we enjoyed a relaxing evening at the tranquil Cauvery Nisargadhama, followed by a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.
The next morning, with heavy hearts, we packed our bags and completed the checkout formalities. Our driver took us to the airport, and we boarded our flights back home.
